Jesse Heinz is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and lyricist from Victoria, B.C. He dabbles mainly in rock music but doesn’t want to be put in a box of only one genre. His latest endeavor is power pop. He plays guitar, bass, drums and sings on his recordings. Jesse has many influences, mostly rock guitarists who are also melodic songwriters, like Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, J Mascis, Kurt Cobain and Rivers Cuomo, to name a few. Jesse loves creating holistic albums rather than singles, as he can put himself in a restrictive creative zone. The end result is catchy, melodic vocals with big guitar sounds, tied together with some common poetic themes in the lyrics.
