Meet JAK; a 16 year old artist living purely to entertain. Despite a messy & unorganized childhood, JAK hopes to produce a deeply-relatable sound to any and all people who give listen to his music. Pain is an eluding trigger for unartistic people, whereas JAK thinks of pain solely as a generous torchlight.. an igniting fuel used to construct an atmospheric tone to his art. At the early age of 6 years old, JAK was brought up by his single mother in a two-bedroom townhome suite off the border of Vancouver. “A deceiving nightmare of upbringing” he claims regretfully. However, during this time, JAK had discovered an artistic liberation through music. As time went on, JAK became heavily addicted to narcotics at the early age of 12 years old. 2 treatment centres later, JAK pledge’s a solemn oath that one unique day he’d make it big in the music industry.

JAK’s compelling lyricism and intricate instrumentals tend to attract those of unique statuses; primarily those who indulge themselves with vigorous senses of metaphorical meaning and symbolistic observation. With that, JAK composites his own unique soundscapes, hoping to construct melodic harmonies and intricate chord-progressions whilst simultaneously seeking out an equal balance between the lyrical-mischief and sinuous-instrumentation of the music.
